Our goal is to improve health outcomes for all New Zealanders by delivering equitable, accessible and innovative care.

About the Role

Allied Health Scientific and Technical workforces are a broad and diverse clinical workforce group that present exciting opportunities for workforce development across the whole health system. The Workforce Lead Allied Health Scientific and Technical (AHST) is critical to ensure that we deliver Health New Zealand's workforce goals and develop an interdisciplinary approach. The workforce lead is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the work programme(s) aligned with the Health Workforce Plan and wider workforce activity that support workforce pipeline development. This includes working across programmes taking an interprofessional approach to workforce development. The role works closely with the clinical leads to achieve outcomes.
