Territory Sales Manager

My client is a leading provider of portable buildings and modular solutions, delivering high-quality, innovative designs across industries such as construction, education, and healthcare. They are renowned for creating customizable, sustainable, and functional structures, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
On their behalf, I am seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join their team, servicing the Lower North Island. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships, upselling and cross-selling to new and existing customers, and driving new business opportunities across your region.
*About the role:*
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring regular engagement through site visits and meetings to gain repeat business
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across your region, ensuring a strong and consistent sales pipeline
- Collaborate closely with internal teams for support with quotes, inquiries, follow-ups, etc., to ensure seamless service delivery for customers
- Represent the business at events and trade shows to promote products/services, build brand awareness, and strengthen your network
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support sales activity, forecasting, and business strategy
About you:
- You have a solid sales background within the construction industry - experience in hire or rental would be advantageous, though not essential.
- You are business development focused, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive new growth across your region.
- You are a true hunter - confident, proactive, and motivated to exceed your targets.
- You thrive on being out on the road, building strong relationships, and growing market awareness - not sitting behind a desk waiting for leads to appear.
