Drives heavy trucks to transport goods, liquids or materials to destinations, and may load and unload vehicles. Role Overview We are seeking skilled and safety -conscious Class 5 Professional Drivers to join our employer partner, Dynes Transport — a proudly family -owned company specialising in Dairy, Containers, Forestry, Viticulture, and Dry Goods cartage for over 50 years. Successful candidates will become an integral part of our modern fleet operation,delivering high -quality, efficient transport services across Canterbury while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safety. Operate Class 5 vehicles safely and professionally to deliver goods. • Conduct pre -start checks and maintain assigned vehicles in sound condition. • Comply with all company policies, Health & Safety procedures, and NZ Transport regulations. • Maintain accurate delivery and collection records using company systems. • Promote positive client relations and represent the company professionally. • Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and team members. • Report any incidents, hazards, or equipment faults immediately. • Be available for day or night shifts as rostered. Requirements • Minimum 2 years' experience as a heavy truck driver. • Prior work in logistics, freight, or transport operations preferred. Skills: • Strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in vehicle care. • Ability to work independently and within a team. • Excellent communication and time -management skills. • Strong focus on safety and regulatory complianceBenefits Starting from NZD $30.00 per hour, with additional allowances, wellbeing fund support, subsidised meals, and performance bonuses as offered by the employer.
