Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We're looking for a proactive and efficient Team Administrator to support the Beca Applied Technologies team. This is a part-time role (24 hours per week), with the opportunity to work additional hours during peak periods.

You'll provide high-quality administrative support to the Section Manager and team, helping coordinate reports, diaries, correspondence, meetings, travel, and supplies. You'll also assist with reception cover, document formatting, data management, and staff processes including inductions and timesheets, as well as coordinating the setup and catering of industry events, team social events and meetings.

You'll play a key role in maintaining section Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) activities, supporting internal and external clients, and ensuring timely, professional communication. Managing your own workflow, you'll contribute to team goals and seek feedback to continuously improve.

You bring experience in office administration, proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, and a genuine desire to help. You're approachable, calm under pressure, and proactive in solving problems.

You take pride in producing accurate, well-presented documents and understand the importance of professionalism, teamwork, and aligning your efforts with organisational goals.

The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain an NZDF Defence Site Clearance or National Security Clearance.
