Are you seeking an exciting new challenge that will provide you with opportunities to learn and grow? We're looking for 4 skilled Insulation Installers to form two new install teams and help support the continued growth of Insulation & Ventilation Hawkes Bay Ltd.

This is a full time, permanent role, guaranteeing a minimum of 30 hours per week. You may be based in Hawkes Bay or Taranaki, depending on operational needs. In Hawkes Bay we trade as Premier Insulation Hawkes Bay, and in Taranaki we trade as Insulation & Ventilation Taranaki. Employment will be with Insulation & Ventilation Hawkes Bay Ltd. Work involves travelling throughout the two regions installing insulation in both new builds and retrofit homes.

You will receive a base rate of $30.00 per hour, with additional metre rates based on productivity. You will be paid at least $30.00 per hour for all hours worked, regardless of metre rates or performance. High performing installers can earn the equivalent of $50.00 per hour, or approximately $1,500 before tax based on a 30 hour week. Work is generally Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7.00am and 6.00pm, with the opportunity to work some Saturday's or Sunday's, depending on demand.

Job Description - What You'll Do

  • Install polyester and glasswool insulation into residential new builds and existing homes
  • Complete installations to NZS 4246 standards
  • Remove existing insulation where required
  • Maintain clean, safe, and compliant worksites
  • Follow all Health and Safety procedures and company processes
  • Deliver great customer service and represent our brands professionally

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 years' experience as an Insulation Installer
  • A full New Zealand driver's license
  • Good physical fitness and comfortable working in confined spaces
  • A positive, reliable attitude and strong work ethic
  • Pride in completing high quality work and being part of a team

Our safe and friendly 100% polyester insulation is proudly manufactured by PIL Group Ltd in their production and warehousing facility in Ngaruawahia, and our glasswool insulation range is imported by PIL Group Ltd from their longstanding supply partner in Taiwan.

We're an authorised sub-contractor for EECA's Warmer Kiwi Homes programme, delivering Government funded insulation retro-fits to low-income homes across New Zealand.
