Your Impact

Join us as a Brewery Technician at our Boundary Road Brewery in Papakura and play a key role in crafting some of New Zealand's most loved beers. This hands-on position covers the full brewing process from preparing ingredients and producing wort to managing fermentation, filtration and quality checks. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement projects that keep us at the forefront of brewing innovation.

Please note: This is an 8-hour rotating shift role covering days, afternoons and nights and we currently have a permanent and a 12-month fixed term role available.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor brewing and filtration equipment

• Manage fermentation processes and yeast pitching

• Perform quality checks and maintain hygiene standards (CIP)

• Assist with trial brews and recipe development

• Record accurate data and contribute to continuous improvement

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you:

• Have an interest in brewing and hands-on production work

• Bring strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset

• Communicate clearly and work well in a team environment

• Are confident using computers and systems for data entry

• Hold or are working towards a qualification in science (e.g. chemistry, microbiology), brewing or a related field (advantageous)

• Are comfortable driving a forklift and performing manual handling up to 25kg
