Mō te tūnga | About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager to join our Auckland-based team in Epsom. In this full-time role, you'll lead a growing team of approximately 70 registered and enrolled nurses across the North Island, providing clinical oversight and operational leadership to ensure high-quality care, particularly in wound care management. You'll also play a key role in shaping new models of care and supporting the expansion of our services.

Ngā mahi | What you'll be doing

  • Providing day-to-day clinical oversight and operational leadership for nursing staff
  • Ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with contract specifications.
  • Coaching and developing a team of Clinical Team Leaders.
  • Ensuring clinical quality standards and audits are consistently met.
  • Supporting the implementation of new care models and digital systems.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare partners across the sector.

What are we looking for?

  • Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate and leadership experience.
  • Community Nursing experience of not less than 5 years and extensive experience in wound care.
  • Full drivers' licence.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word, data manipulation, reporting experience and experience supporting system transitions. Experience with Salesforce and PMS is also an advantage.
  • A strong and confident leader at a senior level with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing a business unit in a complex service delivery environment.
  • Clinical staff assessment, mentoring and supervision experience.
  • Embraces change and has demonstrated ability to implement clinical management and improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of ACC nursing services contract and associated processes would be advantageous.
