We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our busy team in Auckland. This is a full-time position, and you must work at least 40 hours per week.

Day-to-day work may include, but not be limited to:

  • Assemble and install machines efficiently to ensure no delay in productivity
  • Test machine to ensure its smooth operation
  • Select the right tools and equipment
  • Ensure raw materials and tools are adequately stored, and all tools and equipment are maintained in a mechanically sound and clean condition
  • Report to management about the material costs, quantities, and machine requirements
  • Inspect the equipment for proper functioning on a regular basis
  • Adjust machine for products with different materials, shapes, sizes or any special requirements
  • Carry out regular maintenance for mechanical systems and machines
  • Troubleshoot faults in the machines and carry out appropriate actions, analyse data and modify the machine's design to ensure no delay in production
  • Ensure all the related safety and security regulations are met. Minimise and eliminate the hazards caused accidents or incident

The successful candidate should ideally have:

  • A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or three years of relevant work experience
  • A great attitude and work with our team to achieve our KPI targets
  • Pay attention to details and time requirements, in all aspects of daily work
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a professional team
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Great people skills both with fellow workmates
  • A good level of physical fitness
  • Accept flexible working hours
  • Honest, trustworthy & well presented
  • Comply with our health and safety policy
  • Be drug and alcohol-free
