Marketing & Customer Engagement Manager

Are you a strategic marketing leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? Do you thrive in driving brand growth across multiple channels and client segments? We are seeking an innovative Marketing & Customer Engagement Manager to lead our marketing strategy and champion our client experience across farm, companion animal and equine services.
About the Role
Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for developing and executing a data-driven marketing strategy that positions our practice as a trusted veterinary provider.
You'll use customer insights, segmentation, and behavioural data to shape targeted campaigns, strengthen loyalty, and optimise marketing performance across all channels. As the champion of the end-to-end customer journey, you'll identify opportunities to improve engagement and retention, using analytics to guide decision-making and measure impact.
Working closely with the Communications Manager, you'll ensure cohesive brand alignment across all touchpoints, complementing their responsibilities in content development, messaging, and media management.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Brand Growth: Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that strengthen Franklin Vet's market presence and drive growth. Position the brand to attract and retain farm, companion animal, and equine clients, ensuring campaigns and experiences resonate with target audiences.
- Customer Journey & Client Experience: Map and champion the end-to-end client journey across all touchpoints — digital, in-clinic, events, and campaigns. Identify opportunities to enhance engagement, retention, and loyalty, ensuring every client interaction is seamless, personalised, and consistent with the brand.
- Multi-Channel Campaigns: Design and oversee creative, data-driven marketing campaigns across digital, print, events, and in-clinic touchpoints, optimising reach, engagement, and ROI.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and develop a small marketing team (one direct report), working closely with internal stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
- Digital Marketing & Analytics: Leverage CRM, marketing automation, and analytics to guide strategy, track performance, and refine campaigns for maximum impact.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (postgraduate study desirable).
- 10+ years' marketing experience
- Proven track record in driving brand growth, client engagement, and commercial outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
- Experience in veterinary, animal health, or agribusiness sectors is a bonus.
