JV Recruitment are on the lookout for a experienced Carpenters for projectsall across Sydney and the surrouding suburbs. We work with various clients in different sectors throughout Sydney, from commercial and remedial works to high-end residential and high-end landscapers. We have a high demand for skilled carpenters If you're a motivated, detail-oriented craftsperson from New Zealand looking to make the move across the ditch, we'd love to hear from you

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and drawings
  • Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials
  • Framing walls, floors, and roofs
  • Working collaboratively with a team of skilled tradespeople
  • Ensuring all work meets Australian safety and building standards
  • Installing doors, windows, cabinetry, and other fittings

WHAT YOU'LL GET

  • $50 -$60 per hour + super
  • $21.94 additional Daily Travel allowance
  • Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
  • Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
  • On-going roles

Key requirements needed to apply:

  • Cert 3 in Carpentry
  • Current white card
  • Own tools that are tested and tagged
  • Minimum 1year of hands-on experience in residential or commercial carpentry
  • Own transport is highly desirable
