  • Regular Hours: 3pm -11pm week 1 | 7am – 3pm Week 3
  • Regular Days Off: Monday and Sunday each week.
  • Pay Range:  $23.99 to $29.10 per hour

About the role:

Join our team as a full-time Support Staff member based in Avonhead,
Christchurch, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of
life for residents in a warm, home-like setting.

You'll support them with everyday activities such as shopping, meal
preparation, household chores, personal care, and community outings. This
role offers a meaningful opportunity to build trusted relationships and provide
compassionate, person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs.

Note:
Although Hawksbury is accredited to hire staff on an Accredited Employer Work
Visa (AEWV), we do not have a Job Check for this position so cannot
support applicant with the visa process.

Ideally, you'll have an NZ Certificate in Health and
Wellbeing Level 2 or equivalent along with:

  • A positive attitude to supporting people with learning disability.
  • A full New Zealand driver's licence (essential).
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal).
