The Opportunity:
We have an opportunity for an experienced casual physiotherapist to join our Orthopaedic Physiotherapy team in Manukau Super Clinic to provide Physiotherapy MSK first specialist appointment (FSA) to patients triaged to the Physiotherapy MSK pathway.
This role utilises advanced knowledge and clinical skills to coordinate and deliver patient care in management of patients with spine and other joint related conditions referred to CMH Orthopaedic Service. The clinician will practice autonomously, taking responsibility for the assessment and management of patients including the relevant investigations and interventions
You will work alongside and be professionally supported by a team of experienced Physiotherapists, Orthopaedic SMOs, Section Head Physiotherapist, and the Physiotherapy Professional Leader. We also have close links with the wider Allied Health team for collaboration and professional development opportunities.
Essential:
- New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with current APC
- At least 8 years experience as a Physiotherapist with relevant post graduate academic and clinical experience in musculoskeletal or orthopaedic physiotherapy, with preference for experience in spinal conditions.
- Full, clean drivers licence
