About The Role
We're seeking motivated and enthusiastic Flatdeck truck drivers to deliver steel and products across Auckland and be the face of Steel & Tube, ensuring an exceptional customer experience with every delivery.

You will get to be part of a positive and energetic team, who keep each other safe and enjoy putting the customer first. As part of an iconic national brand with people all over New Zealand, the opportunities are endless

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver stainless steel and other steel products with excellence
  • Prioritise health and safety in all operations
  • Operating a class 4 flat deck 8-wheeler
  • Be trained on warehouse processes and gantry crane operations to be able to load your own truck and help the team out
  • Have a positive involvement with our Health & Safety programme and systems

Essential Skills And Experience

  • Full Class 4 or 5 License
  • Hiab experience essential
  • Competent in loading and unloading without incident – no cowboys
  • Knowledge of handling steel reinforcing and roofing products is advantageous
  • Pass drug & alcohol pre-employment tests, criminal and ACC checks
