We are currently seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join our team on a fixed-term basis. Successful candidates will have proven experience setting and operating CNC machines and will be available to work on Day or Afternoon shift.

What you'll do:

  • Set-up and operate CNC Machines, which range from three, four, and five Axis Mill Turning Centres, Horizontal Machining Centres, and Horizontal Borers
  • Reviewing detailed drawings and specifications to ensure materials, methods, and machine settings align with production needs
  • Performing precision measuring, managing machine faults, and ensuring the highest standard of quality
  • Conducting regular maintenance checks to keep machinery running smoothly
  • Ensuring the production meets deadlines while maintaining a commitment to safety

What we're looking for:

  • Trade qualification or at least three years of CNC machining setting experience
  • Experience with Fanuc controls, knowledge of Okuma and Heidenheim controls would also be a bonus
  • A solid understanding of CNC machinery setup, operation, and troubleshooting
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and meet production goals in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment
