Our client is a a team based in Christchurch, New Zealand. They build climbing walls and produce climbing holds.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role reports into the Factory Manager. You will be working Monday-Friday from 8am till around 5pm. You'll be working with CNC cutting machines and general woodwork — a mix of production, handy work, and some painting jobs to keep things varied. ASAP start.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer ideally with a joinery background and someone that can take ownership of this highly skilled role, we are also looking for the below:

  • Excellent programmer/machinist
  • Full licence ideal but not essential
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Experience with hand and power tools (routers, track saws, etc.)
  • Pro-active nature
  • Flexibility and Reliability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • No criminal convictions
