  • We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced organisation performance professional to join our busy team on a fixed term basis for five months

We lead the Government's relationship with the tertiary education sector in New Zealand and provide career services from education to employment.

He angitutanga: About the role:

The Team Manager will lead a team to produce accountability documents and provide high quality planning and reporting processes and products for our Executive Leadership Team, the Board and Ministers. You will report to the Manager Organisational Planning & Performance and where necessary, provide hands on assistance to the Planning and Reporting team's work programme.

  • Demonstrated and proven experience as a leader in a planning and reporting role in the NZ public sector.
  • Proven ability to develop and improve planning and performance frameworks and processes.
  • Proven experience in presenting and working with executive leadership teams, including the ability to influence and tell the story as required.
  • Confidence in building relationships at all levels of the organisation, using negotiation and influence to deliver outcomes.
  • Superior communication, facilitation and coordination skills,
  • Proven experience with hands-on delivery of accountability documents.
  • Strong strategic, conceptual thinking, machinery of govt knowledge and analytical skills.

Remuneration

The recruitment salary range for this position starts from $140k up to $165k, gross per annum (prorated) depending on demonstrable skills and experience. This role is for a fixed term period of five months
