Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic that loves component rebuilds to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dismantling, inspecting, and rebuilding components to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. If you have excellent mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for rebuilding and repairing components, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble and inspect components to identify worn or damaged parts
  • Clean and prepare components for rebuilding
  • Replace worn or damaged parts with new or reconditioned components
  • Rebuild components to OEM specifications
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure rebuilt components meet standards
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in component rebuilding or a related field
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Familiarity with OEM specifications and industry standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in component rebuilding or a related field
  • Experience with specialised tools and equipment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
