Welcome Bay, New Zealand Disabilities Resource Centre Trust Full time

We are seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our team across Opotiki, Kawerau, Whakatane and surrounding areas, as well as the Western Bay of Plenty including Tauranga City, Mount Maunganui, and Papamoa. If you are someone who genuinely cares about supporting people to live independently in their own homes, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide essential assistance to people living in their own homes. This includes both household management and personal care, as well as supporting individuals to remain confident, connected and independent.

Travel between clients during the day is required.

Earn While You LearnAs part of this role, you will complete a recognised formal qualification while you work. This training is mandatory, and we provide full support to help you develop your skills and increase your earning potential.

What We're Looking For

  • A caring, positive, and committed attitude
  • A clean police check
  • A reliable vehicle and full driver licence
  • Willingness to work one weekend per fortnight (or more if preferred) with weekday shifts off

Pay Rate

$23.50 – $29.10 per hour, depending on qualification level.
