Fork Hoist/ Reach Driver – Night shift.

Purpose of this role: We are experiencing growth and need to add additional resources to the night team. This role is responsible for ensuring all required palleted stock is transitioned from the stock room and picking faces to the appropriate aisles thereby ensuring the night and morning fill team is able to fill and merchandise the shelves appropriately in preparation for the day's trading.

Requirement of this role:

• Ensure all required pallets of stock are moved from the storeroom to the appropriate aisles within the trading floor as required for processing by the Morning/ Night Fill team.
• Ensure palleted stock contained on the picking faces within the aisles of the store is also brought down as required for processing by the Morning/ Night Fill team.
• Return pallets to the storeroom once empty and store them in the appropriate area thereby minimising damage to the pallets and ensuring the aisles are always kept clear of blockages during trading.
• Ensure damage to the store's fixtures and fittings is minimized through appropriate use of the fork-hoist / pallet jacks.
• Ensure all issues with the fork-hoist are reported appropriately and regular maintenance checks at the commencement of each shift are undertaken.
• Ensure all stock movements are completed prior to trading for the day to allow customers open access to all aisles.

About you. To be successful for this position, you will have the following skills/attributes.

• Hold a current fork hoist licence (Electric Reach truck hoist)
• Health and Safety conscious
• Able to work on the weekend.
• Physically fit, reliable and punctual
• Able to meet deadlines and be well organised.
• Able to cope under pressure as this role can get very busy.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts (10.00pm – 7am)
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

The hours and days of work are as follow:

Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00pm – 7.00am.
