ACSL Group is looking for an experienced HVAC-R Installers to join our team. (with locations throughout the country)

Job Summary:

As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial buildings. Your expertise in pipework and ductwork installation will ensure the efficient and effective operation of HVAC systems. You will work closely with other team members to deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of HVAC systems, FCU's, ducted units, VRF systems, split systems and ventilation units.
  • Installation of pipework and ductwork, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections.
  • Interpret plans, schematics, and technical manuals to determine installation procedures.
  • Measure and cut pipes and ductwork to the required dimensions.
  • Test/Commission HVAC systems for proper functioning and make necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing information and answering questions about the installation process.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Installer, with strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
  • Proficiency in installing pipework and ductwork.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (e.g., heights, confined spaces).
