Our client is a well-established HVAC and refrigeration business delivering high-quality design, build, install, service and maintenance solutions across industrial and commercial areas. 

As an experience HVAC Service Technician, you will work across a wide range of sectors including commercial offices, healthcare, education, retail, industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems
  • Attend routine maintenance schedules and respond to breakdowns
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults across HVAC plant
  • Carry out minor installations and plant modifications as required
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate job records
  • Provide clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Identify and quote remedial works to the service estimator
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety requirements
  • Maintain required licenses and participate in ongoing training

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–4 years' HVAC service and maintenance experience in New Zealand
  • Relevant HVAC / Refrigeration trade qualification (or equivalent)
  • Electrical Service Technician (EST) and refrigerant filler licence
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
  • Current full NZ driver's license
