We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our Audio team in Ponsonby. In this role you'll be responsible for ensuring net sales, profitability and market share are achieved across your product range, with the support of a Marketing Assistant. You'll set local budgets, determine product positioning (including pricing), direct product launches, and devise effective marketing strategies to ensure the Sony brand is enhanced.

Your previous experience as a successful Product Manager of a major category and/or multiple minor categories will allow you to hit the ground running. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • The ability to make commercially sound business decisions
  • Excellent planning, influencing, negotiation and communication skills
  • Sound research skills with the ability to interpret market trends
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully developing and implementing strategic marketing plans
  • High attention to detail and sound problem solving skills
  • Motivation, passion and proactivity
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship skills, both internal & external
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially within Excel and PowerPoint
  • A passion for audio products or experience within a similar category will be a big advantage, but not essential
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a similar field
