Organisational Development Specialist

They're seeking an experienced Organisational Development Specialist to join our team. This is a pivotal role focused on shaping our people strategy, enhancing organisational capability, and fostering a culture of growth and engagement. You will work closely with senior leaders to design and implement initiatives that support talent development, leadership capability, and organisational effectiveness.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, working 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE), based in Ellerslie, commencing January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver organisational development strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Design and implement leadership development programmes and succession planning frameworks.
- Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and culture.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to leaders and high-potential employees to support career growth and capability building.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify capability gaps and create targeted solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of OD programmes, ensuring continuous improvement.
About You
- Proven experience in organisational development, talent management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to influence at all levels and deliver measurable outcomes.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
