creating a great work environment. We offer our customers high-quality meals, catering to
both dine-in and takeaway customers.
We are looking for a Manager to lead front-of-house operations in a busy food environment, at Te Awa Mall, Hamilton. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, supervising and supporting staff, and ensuring high standards across daily operations.
This is a full-time position with a minimum of 35 working hours per week. The pay rate will
range from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and/or qualifications.
About the Role
The Manager is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating customer service systems,
standards and policies to ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. The role
will manage and support customer service staff, oversee service standards, and
monitoring service performance to contribute to the overall success of the store. In
addition, the position supports day-to-day retail management relating to the daily
store/restaurant operations, paying special attention to Te Awa's requirements.
You should have:
suitable work experience of at least 12 months in a fast-paced restaurant/food
environment OR A suitable relevant qualification.
Core duties include but are not limited to:
Managing and supporting customer service staff to maintain high service standards
Ensuring a positive customer experience and handling customer enquiries and
feedback
Coordinating staff schedules and service workflows to meet customer demand
Implementing and maintaining customer service policies and procedures
Supporting daily store operations, including stock coordination and front-of-house
workflows
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, as required by Te
Awa.
Customer focused- stock management and liaising with suppliers.
Maintaining financial records, including budgeting and cash handling.
