About the Role

We're on the lookout for a Cable Jointer who's keen to do more than just jointing. This is a unique opportunity to be part of our industrial project delivery team, where you'll combine your jointing expertise with hands-on electrical installation work on some of New Zealand's most exciting infrastructure projects.

If you're experienced with LV and HV cable jointing and looking for more variety in your day-to-day, this could be the role for you.

What you'll be doing:

• Jointing and terminating LV/HV cables (typically 400V to 33kV) on industrial projects
• Supporting our electricians with general installation works (e.g. cable tray, cable pulling, equipment installs)
• Working as part of a site-based team to help deliver major infrastructure projects
• Maintaining your gear and ensuring all works are done safely, to standard, and on time
• Building your skills through a supported pathway to full Electrical Registration (if not already qualified)

What we're looking for:

• Proven LV/HV cable jointing experience in industrial or network environments
• Practical experience (or interest) in general electrical installation work
• A strong safety mindset and a collaborative attitude
• Current driver's licence (Class 1 minimum)
• EWRB registration is a bonus - but not required. We'll support you to get there.
