Chilled Fresh & Frozen Team Lead

Gilmours Tauranga

We're on the lookout for a hands-on, reliable Chilled Fresh & Frozen (CFF) Team Lead to help keep our chilled, fresh and frozen department running smoothly. You'll be guiding daily work, supporting team performance, and making sure our customers get the best every time.

Tuesday to Saturday Full Time

What you'll do

Work alongside the Store Floor Manager and Buying team

Lead the day-to-day workflow in the Chilled Fresh & Frozen area.

Receive, organise, price and replenish all chilled, fresh and frozen products.

Maintain accurate stock levels and rotate perishable goods correctly.

Keep the workspace clean, safe and tidy.

Support wider warehouse operations when needed.

Operate a forklift in a cold, confined space (advantageous, not essential).

What you'll bring
  • Experience in food, warehouse, or similar roles is helpful but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-moving environment.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in cold conditions.
  • Good communication skills and a genuine customer-first mindset.
  • Reliable, honest, and willing to pitch in and help the team.
  • Forklift license, WMS or SAP experience are bonuses.
