About The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Account Manager will play an integral role in maintaining and growing our client relationships. Strategically focused, they will have a thorough understanding of their business needs and be able to articulate how Wellcom's products and services can benefit them.
They will have a good understanding of industry best practices across creative, digital, production, and learning, being able to articulate scopes and services as well as identify new business opportunities.
Connecting with multiple stakeholders they will be the 'go-to' for all client comms and queries helping shape their creative vision and will lead all client requests as well as to identify new opportunities to grow the account. They will be vital in supporting the team to exceed client expectations on every project producing quality content that delivers exceptional results.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the General Manager,, you'll take on a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Primary contact for assigned groups and clients.
- Identify additional scope and opportunities across current and new projects.
- Have excellent knowledge and understanding of the client's marketing strategies in order to identify and secure opportunities to sell an extended range of Wellcom products and services.
- Contribute to the development and execution of plans - strategic, marketing, new business, leveraging off insights acquired through supplied and sourced research.
- Be proactive in seeking new business opportunities including identifying additional scopes across current and new clients and projects.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients.
- Coordinate briefs, presentations, and proposals.
- Support the account director with monthly/quarterly reports and reviews.
What You Bring
We are looking for someone who:
- 4-7 years of experience in an account service or sales role within the advertising, creative, marketing or printing industry.
- Creative agency experience is desirable.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Competent in presenting.
- Project management skills are highly desirable.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented.
- Strategic and creatively focused.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
If you were here in the last month, you may have:
- Attended a client photoshoot, helping shape content ideas in real time.
- Collaborated on a couple of key projects, contributing ideas and helping deliver these.
