ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Senior Account Manager – Social, Content & Influencer to join our growing team. This role sits at the heart of DARK
HORSE

's social offering. You'll lead client relationships, shape creative and strategic thinking, and champion best-in-class execution across social, content and influencer channels.

The Senior Account Manager will:

  • Be the primary day-to-day client contact across social, content and influencer workstreams
  • Bring sharp strategic thinking, creative instinct, and operational excellence to every brief
  • Lead social media strategy development—from insights and planning through to execution, optimisation and reporting
  • Oversee multi-channel delivery across Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
  • Manage and mentor junior account team members, ensuring high performance, best practice, and growth
  • Lead content creation and influencer programmes, ensuring output is on-brand, culturally relevant and high-quality

ABOUT YOU

You're proactive, culturally switched-on and passionate about the power of social and content to move brands. You're confident working with clients, comfortable leading creative development, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Capabilities & Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years' agency experience across social/content/influencer
  • Proven experience managing social accounts and multi-channel campaigns
  • Strong strategic capability with the ability to develop and present social media and influencer strategies
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills - from junior to executive level
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior team members
  • A strong understanding of content creation, influencer partnerships and community management
  • Excellent communication skills including presentations, written comms and WIPs
  • Confident managing budgets, forecasting, invoicing and financial reporting
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve and maintain calm under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high creative standard
