Ko tā mātou mahi - About the role

Seeking expressions of interest from experienced Field Managers interested to join UCG in Christchurch. The role supervises and supports our Delivery Partner workforce (Sub Contractors) in the field.

Ko tō mahi – What you will do

  • Lead and support a high level of compliance in the field.
  • Lead and support safe work practices adherence.
  • Provide an environment where subcontractors exceed KPI targets.
  • Provide and share your technical knowledge.
  • Be comfortable working with internal stakeholders at all levels including executive leadership.

Na tōu rourou -What you will bring

You have a track record of leading telecommunications technicians and more specifically:

  • Maintenance and build of Inside Plant
  • Maintenance and build of Outside Plant
  • OSP Fibre / NGA
  • Provisioning/Res/Bus Tech
  • A focus on results, self-motivated, high-level performer, problem solver, decision maker.
  • A full clean driver's license.

It is desirable that you hold:

  • A Level 3 Telecommunications qualification.
  • Complex build experience.
