- Maintain strong relationships with local bodies, clients, subcontractors, suppliers & other key stakeholders
- Lead and develop Supervisors, Site Engineers and Foremen.
- Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and technical guidance.
- Support workforce planning, capability development and recruitment where needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies (earthworks, drainage, roading, utilities, structures).
- Proven experience with project budgeting, forecasting, and commercial administration.
- Competence in MS Project and project management/reporting systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
What we are offering in return:
- Competitive salary based on experience, including a company vehicle, cell phone and laptop.
- Medical Insurance after 6 months of service.
- Performance, career development and growth opportunities within any of our divisions (Civils, Surfacing, Quarries and Tendering)
- Strong organisational support to invest in your personal and professional goals.
- Positive culture and leadership creating a collaborative, respectful project environment where you are valued and treated like whānau.
- Local business owners who are passionate about our team, our communities and our region.
