About the Role

Step into a pivotal leadership role as our Workshop Foreman/Controller at Ingham Mitsubishi in Te Awamutu.  You'll be the go-to technical leader in the workshop. You will support technicians, oversee daily workflow, ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer standards, and help deliver outstanding customer satisfaction through exceptional quality control and communication.  This is your opportunity to make a real impact in a high-performing service department while enjoying a Monday to Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate daily workshop operations and job flow
  • Support and mentor technicians, apprentices, and junior team members
  • Perform diagnostic work and provide technical guidance on complex repairs
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time
  • Liaise with the Service Advisor team on job progress, timeframes, and required parts
  • Maintain workshop efficiency, productivity, and quality control standards
  • Assist with road testing, final checks, and warranty repair standards
  • Uphold health & safety compliance and promote best practice across the workshop
Skills & Experience
  • Current clean full NZ Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Previous team leader, foreman, or senior technician experience is advantageous.
  • Must currently reside in New Zealand with a valid work visa, if applicable.
  • Strong communicator with integrity and professionalism.
