experienced and motivated Anaesthetists
to provide high-quality clinical care, mentor junior staff, and contribute to service development in a supportive and expanding department.

Your Role
As a Staff Specialist Anaesthetics, You Will

  • Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based anaesthesia across a broad range of surgical specialties
  • Provide clinical leadership and contribute to departmental teaching, training, and quality improvement
  • Supervise and mentor registrars, junior doctors, and other clinical staff
  • Participate in on-call and after-hours rosters as required
  • Engage actively in clinical governance, patient safety, and service innovation

What You Ll Do

  • Deliver safe, high-quality anaesthetic services across a range of specialties
  • Supervise and mentor registrars and junior doctors
  • Participate in on-call and after-hours rosters
  • Contribute to teaching, quality improvement, and clinical governance

What you ll need

  • FANZCA or assessed as Substantially Comparable via ANZCA
  • AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
  • Excellent clinical communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement
