As the result of an internal promotion this is a rare opportunity to join the Commercial and Partnerships Team at a leading and renowned private healthcare group.

The Strategic Funding and Contracts Manager plays a pivotal role in the growth and development of the strategic partnerships with funders and contracting for hospital and surgical services.

The Role

This role is primarily accountable for leading a team of contract administrators to manage the end to end process of contracting and securing funding opportunities and new services.

Further key responsibilities of the role include.

 Leading the development of new funder contracts and the management and

maintenance of existing contracts with funders and providers.

 Developing and managing relationships with funders.

 Leading the management and maintenance of all subcontracts with clinical

specialists to align with all funder contracts.

 Engaging with new specialists working within the group and the funder to set

up appropriate contracts.

 Identify, manage, and resolve contract risks and issues relating to

agreements, and identify any areas of potential risk to the business.

 Leading the response to Requests for Proposals for new business and work

as the project lead responsible for obtaining input from a diverse set of

stakeholders across the business to provide specialised input.

 Develop pricing proposals for new services, funder driven policy changes and

new contracts, including data analysis and business insights to support the

General Manager Commercial and Partnerships and the wider senior leadership

team.

About you

Your experience gained in healthcare services, private health insurance, a funder or pharmaceutical environment and understanding of the private healthcare sector is critical. This role is all about strategic contracts management, funding, and pricing, all of which need to be driven by exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills, and a sharp eye for opportunity.

Your skills have been finely tuned and your relevant experience to this role, where clear and concise communication, and strong attention to detail will be a determining factor in your success.

Finally, your ability to effectively lead a team, influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, think strategically, and provide accurate and informative analysis on performance, combined with a growth mindset will ensure the ongoing and future growth of the business.
