About the Role
As a Clinical Specialist Radiographer at Auckland City Hospital, you will play a key leadership role within our Radiology service. Youll bring advanced clinical and technical expertise to your designated modality/area, ensuring high-quality imaging for inpatients, ED presentations, and outpatients across Tāmaki Makaurau and the wider Pacific region.
This role combines hands-on clinical excellence with operational oversight. You will lead and support staff, manage patient flow and service delivery, contribute to training and development, and ensure our imaging standards are safe, innovative, and aligned with best practice.

About the Team/Service

About you
You will be an experienced Medical Radiation Technologist with the ability to provide clinical leadership, mentor others, and support the delivery of a high-quality patient-centred service.
Essential:
Relevant tertiary MRT qualification
Current registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board
Current APC
Minimum 3 years experience in a relevant clinical environment
Experience leading or managing within a health professional team
Advanced clinical skills and the ability to support staff managing complex patients
Desirable:
Postgraduate Diploma or Masters qualification
Experience in service development, change management, or strategic planning
Management or leadership training
