Position Impact

The Senior Media Planning Executive will takes ownership of media planning across part of the ZURU Toys brand portfolio, driving innovation, planning excellence, and performance impact.

Our activity primarily runs on TikTok, YouTube and Meta alongside other digital platforms, and we are excited to explore more opportunities within The Trade Desk, Snapchat, retail channels, and more. We have fantastic relationships with tech partners, insights partners and inventory suppliers and you will need to be able to leverage those.

You will help to build the pathway for ZURU Toys' best-in-class planning across including the development and implementation of new processes and audience frameworks. We have a track record of delivering best-in-class content, much of which goes viral, and you will play a key role in driving this across different teams.

Essential to success will be the relationships built with the Media Buying team, Data and Analytics team and ZURU Toys brand marketing teams to ensure all campaigns ladder up and deliver on business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead media planning for assigned brands within the ZURU Toys portfolio (subject to change based on business needs), ensuring strategies are insight-driven, effective, and aligned with brand objectives.
  • Deeply understand your brands and their customers so that campaigns are rolled out effectively in multiple markets
  • Manage relationships with Media Buying, Data, Global and Local teams to ensure alignment across campaigns and consistency in execution.
  • Adopt a test-and-learn mindset to explore new opportunities across platforms, audience frameworks, and content approaches that enhance overall media performance.
  • Collaborate closely with tech partners to identify new capabilities and drive continuous improvement in campaign planning and measurement.
  • Support the evolution of the reporting structure and cadence delivered at a global level
  • Liaise and grow relationships with key stakeholders to develop and feed insights back into the business to enable ZURU Group to level up their approach to media and strategy
  • Drive the agenda for a cohesive ZURU Toys Media and Marketing team flow for optimum collaboration both locally and internationally, leveraging partners to build the knowledge base of wider marketing teams
Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years' experience in Digital Marketing or Media
  • Experience working with Google TikTok and Meta ads products is optimal
  • Openness to listen, learn and adapt to always do better
  • Comfortable sharing opinions in a productive manner
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, priorities, stay organized, and manage time effectively
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Display bias to action, moving from an insight to execution as quickly as possible
