Location: Greymouth Central
Hours of work: 40 hours per week - 8 Hours shifts Monday to Friday, 4 Hours shifts on Alternate Saturdays.
Pay Range: $26 - $28 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

Join our dedicated team at Unichem Olsens Pharmacy. We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Intern Pharmacist to support our operations and deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate and safe dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of your Preceptor Pharmacist
- Providing clear, professional, and patient-focused advice on medicines, dosages, and minor ailments
- Contributing to clinical services, including vaccinations, smoking cessation, compliance packaging
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring strict adherence to New Zealand legislation and professional standards
- Engaging fully with the EVOLVE ITP requirements, including assignments, portfolios, and appraisals
Mandatory Regulatory Requirements:
These are non-negotiable for working as an intern pharmacist in New Zealand:
- Qualification: Must be a graduate (or on track to complete) a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from a New Zealand or an accredited Australian university. Graduates with overseas qualifications must have successfully completed the necessary equivalency requirements (e.g., KAPS exam and NZ Legislation course)
- Registration: Must be eligible for, or already hold, registration in the Intern Pharmacist Scope of Practice with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand (PCNZ)
- Intern Training Programme (ITP): Must be willing to enrol in and complete the mandatory one-year Intern Training Programme (ITP), administered by the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand (PSNZ)
