Are you a natural organiser who loves helping people and making things happen? Do you enjoy being part of a team that supports our community through libraries, facilities, and local initiatives?

We're looking for a Community Services Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to our Community Services Group Manager. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same

You'll play a key part in keeping things running smoothly — managing priorities, coordinating projects, and supporting the leadership of the group. You'll also have one direct report who helps create engaging promotional material for our libraries and community services.

In this pivotal role, you'll:

  • Provide professional and proactive administrative support to the Group Manager.
  • Keep the team organised — managing meetings, correspondence, and follow-ups.
  • Support communication and promotional activities across our community facilities and libraries.
  • Build great relationships across Council and with community partners.
  • Help create an environment where people feel informed, connected, and support

We are looking for someone who:

  • Communicates clearly and enjoys working with people from all walks of life.
  • Has strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Brings creativity and initiative to help share our community stories.
