The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Director to lead our Hornby business unit through a period of transformation. This fixed-term role (6 months) will give you the opportunity to make a real impact by:

• Championing change and motivating staff to embrace a lean, empowered, and agile way of working
• Building a high-performing, responsive, and collaborative team culture
• Streamlining operations and introducing innovative processes to enhance efficiency
• Being hands-on when needed, rolling up your sleeves to support the team

• Proven experience leading operational transformation in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and empower staff
• Comfortable being hands-on and working alongside a small team
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the business
