We're looking for a dynamic Social Media Community & Content Specialist to take our social presence to the next level You'll be at the forefront of our digital engagement, crafting compelling content, managing online communities, and ensuring that our social media channels are buzzing with activity. Whether it's creating viral posts, engaging with students, or covering major events like Open Day and graduation, this role is all about bringing our University to life online. Oh, and did we mention? You'll also get the chance to step into the hooves of Moosy the Cow, our beloved University mascot

Salary will be in the range of $85,279 to $97,532 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

Ko wai koe? – Who are you?

Holding a Bachelors' qualification in marketing, communications or a relevant field you will have over 4 years' experience in the digital/ social media field.

In addition, you will also have: 

  •  A strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. 
  • Experience in content creation, including video production, graphic design, and copywriting. 
  • An eye for analytics—knowing how to measure success and optimise content for engagement. 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive, creative mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • Bonus points if you have experience in the education sector
