About the Role

Are you passionate about interiors, love working with people, and have a knack for design? Join CurtainStudio as a Design Consultant and help customers bring their window furnishing visions to life. You'll guide clients through product selection, provide tailored in-home advice, and manage the end-to-end process, all while delivering outstanding service and achieving sales targets. You'll be part of a friendly, high-performing team and work closely with our in-store and support office colleagues to create raving fans

Enjoy a solid base salary plus uncapped commission, what you earn is driven by your results

This is a Monday – Friday, and every second Saturday (9am-12pm) position, based out of our Napier showroom.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on window furnishing solutions, both readymade and custom
  • Manage in-home consults: measure, quote, and close sales
  • Deliver quotes and follow up within 24–48 hours
  • Proactively respond to customer leads and generate new opportunities
  • Maintain showroom standards and product displays
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business
  • Accurately complete sales documentation and update the CRM system
  • Support branch-wide customer service and occasional flooring enquiries
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through professional follow-up and service recovery

You Will Have

  • Proven experience hitting sales targets in a retail or consultative setting
  • Confidence with face-to-face customer service and in-home consults
  • Ability to measure accurately and translate customer needs into solutions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • A clean and current full NZ driver's licence
  • Tech savvy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • (Bonus) A flair for interiors or knowledge of textiles
