We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Services Director (CSD) to join our senior leadership team, Te Kāhui Manukura, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of hospice care in our region.
What you'll do
- Lead and inspire an interdisciplinary clinical team - allied health, nursing, and healthcare assistants - ensuring seamless, person-centred care.
- Drive clinical excellence through robust governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
- Champion equity and inclusion, embedding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and ensuring access for Māori, Pacific peoples, Disability Community and other underserved communities.
- Foster innovation and research, advancing best practice in palliative and end-of-life care.
- Create a culture of wellbeing, resilience, and professional growth for your team.
What we're looking for
- A proven senior leader with extensive experience in health services management and a strong clinical background (Allied Health or Nursing qualification essential, post-graduate qualification desirable).
- Expertise in clinical governance, quality systems, and workforce development.
- A strategic thinker who can influence, innovate, and lead change in a complex health environment.
- Commitment to equity, cultural safety, and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong partnerships across sectors.
