We are seeking a Family Support Worker who is willing to go above and beyond and have fun whilst supporting families who has a loved one with an experience of mental illness and/or addiction.
The successful applicant will possess
· Person focused approach and commitment to enhancing people's strengths
· Enthusiastic, empathetic attitude
· Exemplary professional judgement
· Excellent relationship building, communication, computer and report writing skills
· Flexibility, working in a variety of settings
· Excellent facilitation skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
The role is 37.5 hours per week, possible second role 22.5 hours per week
The applicant should have/be:
· Be able to work independently and as part of a supportive team
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Client Management Systems would be an advantage
· Excellent written and oral communication
· An understanding of Te Reo and tikanga
· A Level 4 NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (Mental Health & Addiction Support) or equivalent is required or be willing to complete a health qualification
· A current and clean full driver license and have legal entitlement to work in NZ.
