UMC Innovation is an international engineering company who specialize in the manufacture of fabricated fence technology. We are a 4th generation, family-owned company established in 1932 and over the years have established a worldwide reputation for producing high quality machines.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced supply chain expert to join a well-established team of engineering innovators. This is a challenging and varied role which will include a wide range of duties, this is a permanent position.

Your duties will involve but not be limited to:

  • Manage the BOM's and Assemblies within the Stock Management Software
  • Purchasing of all parts for inhouse manufacturing and assembly
  • Management of Stock – inwards/outwards/assembly procurement
  • Develop relationships with new and existing suppliers
  • Manage the supply of parts to customers, from quoting through to dispatch
  • Freight management

What you will need to succeed

· Good knowledge of computer software and inventory management systems with the ability to learn new systems quickly

· Ability to work in a small team environment

· Strong focus on detail
