The Organisation

Marlborough Urgent Care Ltd (MUC) is committed to providing a high standard, seven day a week, service to the people of Marlborough. Patients present with a wide range of conditions and the emphasis is on acute and urgent care.

The Role

The ECP is responsible providing a safe and efficient urgent care service. To provide primary and preventative care, delivering clinical services and ensuring adherence to healthcare standards. You will support increasing capacity within the team, providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment and review of people and their whānau whose needs lie within the scope of an ECP.  You are responsible for ensuring that the highest standard of clinical care is delivered. Targets and objectives are met in line with national and local standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Registration with Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council in New Zealand
  • Postgraduate specialisation or equivalent
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • CORE / ACLS Certification
  • Experience in an urgent care setting is preferred
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
