Located in Porirua, Life Pharmacy North City has evolved into a vibrant Health Hub, offering accessible, equitable care 7 days a week. We provide a range of services including acute care, immunisations, clinical treatments, and support through Standing Orders. Our mission is to improve health outcomes with a strong focus on community needs.

**About Unichem Molesworth Pharmacy**

Situated next to Thorndon Medical Centre and just a short walk from the Wellington Train Station, Unichem Molesworth Pharmacy serves both local residents and professionals working in nearby government offices and businesses. Despite being a small team, we deliver a full range of pharmacy services and pride ourselves on our strong clinical focus and commitment to patient care.

**Position Overview**

As a Pharmacist in our Health Hubs, you'll provide essential services and support to the community. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, innovative setting alongside nurses, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Dispense medications and offer professional advice on prescription and over-the-counter treatments
- Support acute care services (e.g. sore throats, UTIs, minor ailments)
- Administer vaccinations and conduct health checks (BP, cholesterol, glucose, hepatitis C, gout)
- Deliver treatments using standing orders (e.g. for skin infections, shingles, cold sores)
- Support patients with chronic conditions like diabetes through education and care plans
- Promote and assist with Nurse-in-Pharmacy services at Life Pharmacy North City

**About You**

You're passionate about healthcare equity and excited to help reshape community pharmacy. You work well in fast-paced, team environments, and you bring strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand
- Accredited or willing to train in: UTI treatment, ECPs, Oral Contraception, Sildenafil, Vaccinations, Clozapine, B12 injections
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build patient trust
- Confident working independently and managing multiple tasks
- Understanding of health equity and commitment to serving diverse communities
- Experience with extended clinical services is an advantage
