KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Must be over 18 years and hard working, honest, loyal, quick learner.
  • Assist customers in selecting alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on preferences.
  • Provide information about product types, origins, prices, and promotions.
  • Check customer identification and ensure compliance with alcohol sale laws and store policies.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process cash, EFTPOS, and credit card transactions.
  • Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges in line with store procedures.
  • Maintain product displays, restock shelves, and ensure products are correctly priced and labelled.
  • Receive, check, and store incoming stock deliveries safely and accurately.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or discrepancies to the manager.
  • Ensure store cleanliness, tidiness, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Assist in visual merchandising and promotional displays to attract customer attention.
  • Support daily store operations including opening and closing duties, cash reconciliation, and banking preparation.
  • Handle customer complaints and forward it to manager if needed.
  • Promote upselling and cross-selling to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain knowledge of liquor brands, varieties, and new product arrivals.
  • Daily day-to-day duties assigned by the Manager.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.50 – $23.60 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
