**VACANCY - RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT (KIOSK) 10 - 20 + Hours p/week**

We are a New Zealand based, queer-owned small business selling a variety of earrings - contemporary and sterling silver. We like to think of our business as the earrings playground.

**We are looking for committed SALES STARS to form our new Palmerston North team.**

**You will be doing**:

- Set up The Plaza kiosk with Director and Sales Coordinator
- Ability to work independently
- SALES Achieving and exceeding sales targets, taking responsibility for sales performance
- Visual merchandising, maintain exemplary shop floor standards
- Keep updated with promotions, lead and guide customers, make suggestions and listen to their needs
- Handle daily operational tasks including operating POS system, stock management, earrings prepping, housekeeping, customer service.

**To succeed in the role, you’ll need**:

- Passion for sales & retail
- Ability to work independently
- A devotion for working with a small business
- 1 year retail experience in a small-medium kiosk/shop.
- Great communication
- Friendly & Queer-friendly, approachable and welcoming
- A responsible and “mature” approach to work and performance
- “Can-do” attitude, adaptable to change, forward-thinking
- Reliable, consistent, 100% punctual
- Enjoys chatting with customers and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain a high standard of personal grooming
- High energy, big smiles, welcoming, approachable and a people’s person
