Following internal changes, we are seeking expressions of interest from an experienced and collaborative senior leader to oversee our Gisborne-based seed production operation.

You'll report to the ANZ COO and take responsibility for five direct reports, a core team of forty full-time employees, and a highly capable seasonal workforce. 

You will oversee the Gisborne seed production team, driving both operational and strategic objectives across short, medium and long-term horizons. Ensuring consistent production of our hybrid maize seed at exceptional quality standards is essential to maintaining our competitive edge and meeting the expectations of both local and international customers—making this a critical performance measure for the business unit.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • 5-7 years of experience in production operations leadership, agricultural management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Skills to guide staff through technological, automation, and process changes.
  • Strong commercial insight and financial literacy.
  • A service-oriented mindset toward customers, employees, and business partners.
