About the role

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating delicious coffee and food? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you We are seeking talented Baristas, Customer Service, and Kitchen Hands to join our vibrant new team at Soul Origin's New Market. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for all our customers, whether they're grabbing a quick coffee on-the-go or enjoying a leisurely meal.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages to our customers
  2. Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring each patron's experience is seamless and enjoyable
  3. Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation, plating, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation
  4. Restocking and maintaining the front-of-house and back-of-house areas
  5. Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene standards
  6. Collaborating with your team to deliver efficient and friendly service

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  2. Strong barista skills and knowledge of coffee making techniques
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
  5. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  6. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
