Mō te tūranga | About the Role
In this key position within our Data Quality function, you'll be instrumental in delivering high-quality data insights across the bank. Your work will support regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making.
You'll
- Develop and implement data quality rules and measurement frameworks.
- Design and deploy intuitive data quality dashboards.
- Collaborate with Data Stewards and business units to identify and resolve data issues.
- Partner with Technology teams to source data and automate quality processes.
- Align with Westpac Group to ensure consistency in data quality approaches.
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
You bring a strong foundation in data management and a passion for data integrity. Your experience includes:
- 4+ years in data management, with 2+ years focused on advanced data quality measurement, reporting, and remediation in complex environments.
- Solid understanding of database design and data warehousing principles.
- Proven skills in Informatica Data Quality (essential), SQL, and Oracle.
- Experience maintaining a highly controlled data environment.
- Strong facilitation skills to lead data quality workshops.
- Exceptional documentation abilities—able to simplify and communicate complex concepts.
- A proactive mindset—able to plan, prioritise, and execute tasks independently.
